Margaret Atwood (Ottawa, 1939) es una de las escritoras m?s prestigiosas del panorama internacional. Autora prol?fica traducida a m?s de cuarenta idiomas, ha practicado todos los g?neros literarios. Entre su amplia producci?n destacan las novelas Por ?ltimo, el coraz?n, Alias Grace, El cuento de la criada, Los testamentos, Oryx y Crake, El a?o del Diluvio, Maddaddam y Ojo de gato, la colecci?n de relatos Nueve cuentos malvados y los ensayos Pen?lope y las doce criadas y Cuestiones candentes, todos ellos publicados por Salamandra.
