Alice Kuipers is the author of fourteen books for young adults and children, and her work has been published in thirty-six countries. Born in London, England, she now lives in Canada with her partner, the author Yann Martel; their four children; their dog, Bamboo; and their cat, Merlin. Diana Toledano divides her time between working as a freelance illustrator and teaching in museums. She lives in San Francisco.
