Zeke Peña es un garabatista profesional y un aspirante viajero del tiempo. Nació en el desierto chihuahuense y creció en un lugar llamado la Ciudad del Sol. Un día, buscando polvo solar en los montes detrás de su casa, pisó dentro de una llanta vieja y escuchó un ssssssonido que envolvió su pierna. ¿Polvo solar? ¿Una abeja gigante? ¡¿Una víbora de cascabel?! En ese momento, algo sacudió el interior de su cuerpo, y él corrió a la velocidad de la luz. Después de ese día, percibió el atardecer más brillante, casi eléctrico, y es ahí donde encontró los colores para este libro. ¿Has encontrado polvo solar escondido donde tú vives?
