Simple text and comparisons encourage a whimsical way for kids to find comfort over concern when in the company of someone with Parkinson's. Understanding that Parkinson's disease is much more than "shaking" is important for all parties to acknowledge for the sake of their loved ones.
This is not an in-depth book on Parkinson's disease but instead a gentle reminder of how your loved one has little control over the changes taking place. Family members often become deflated and distant, accepting your loved one did not choose this version of themselves is important for all to recognize.
