Dr. Walter J. Matweychuk is a leading contemporary voice in Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT), known for his clear and uncompromising presentation of Albert Ellis's original philosophical and clinical principles. Across decades of clinical practice, supervision, teaching, and writing, he has consistently championed REBT's distinctive emphasis on unconditional self, other and life acceptance, emotional responsibility, and the active disputation of self-defeating attitudes. This volume presents a curated selection of Dr. Matweychuk's Intermittent Reinforcement writings. Each essay contributes uniquely to the broader philosophy and practice of REBT.[These essays] are like having a wise friend encouraging me to see things in a more sensible and effective way. You are doing an excellent job of promoting REBT to many people in many places. Your work certainly contributes to making people's lives better and the world a better place.-Michael D'Amico
