Press On Regardless comes from the heart of a man who experienced brokenness and struggled to recover. His painful journey of recovery was one with challenges and setbacks. In Press On Regardless, Gary Taylor shares that his greatest source of strength during his recovery was the Bible. He held on to Psalm 147:3 "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds," and Jeremiah 30:17 "I will restore your health and heal your wounds." In his brokenness Gary knew God would not leave him broken, and that he could trust God with his future.
Now Gary Taylor wants to share with anyone struggling with brokenness that there is hope.
Often when we are hurting we feel hopeless, and that only compounds the pain. Proverbs 13:12 says, "Hope deferred makes the heart sick." Gary stresses as long as you have hope you will survive. Each chapter of Press On Regardless is filled with scriptures that give life, hope, and healing. As you read each chapter let it speak to you, and give you hope for your journey to recovery.
Gary Taylor's prayer for everyone who reads Press On Regardless is Romans 15:13 "May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit."
