Author Biography
Walter Bretz has a degree in Dentistry from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (1982), a master's degree in Public Health from the University of Michigan (1987) and a doctorate in Public Health from the same institution (1990). He is currently an adjunct professor at New York University and a professor at Universidade Bandeirante de São Paulo. He has expertise in the areas of oral microbiology, genetics of oral diseases and epidemiology, and has devoted more than thirty years to the study of propolis. He has to his credit twelve publications on this subject in relevant scientific journals.
