In this first book of the Iceland: The Puffin Explorers series, readers are introduced to puffins and where they live. Educational fun facts are placed throughout the book to share interesting things about Iceland and puffins, like how puffins are also called Clowns of the Sea because of how funny they look walking, flying, and landing.
Illustrated with actual photographs taken while the author explored the beautiful country of Iceland, this eye catching picture book is sure to mesmerize young readers.
Iceland: The Puffin Explorers series is a 2020 MOONBEAM AWARD winner! The Moonbeam Children's Book Awards bring increased recognition to exemplary children's books and their creators, and are dedicated to supporting childhood literacy and life-long reading.
