Author Biography
John Dolic was born in Teslic, former Yugoslavia, grew up in Doboj (now Bosnia) where he finished his primary and secondary education and in 1979 went to Beijing, China to complete his tertiary studies. After eight years' stay in Beijing he gained two degrees, one for Chinese language from the Beijing Language Institute and the other one for Chinese Medicine from the Beijing University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, thus becoming the first westerner ever to complete the 6 year full time course with a degree from China's most prestigious university for traditional Chinese medicine. For the last 20 years John has been living in Sydney, Australia where he has been involved in teaching and practicing Chinese medicine, Kung Fu and Taoism as well as running publications on the same subject, notably, the Qigong Chinese Health magazine and his most recent project, a book named Qigong Demystified.
