Quiet Time with God for Women is Nancy Taylor's 365-day devotional for women who want a real daily practice of spending time with God. It connects a few minutes of morning quiet to Scripture and everyday life. A full year of readings means this gift keeps delivering long after it's unwrapped.
Women balance more competing priorities than ever, and quiet time tends to get pushed to the bottom of the list. A short daily habit of Scripture reading and prayer changes that balance. It doesn't add pressure--it relieves it, by reminding a woman that Someone trustworthy is already ahead of her.
The entries in the devotional are organized by month, and each month has a theme. Each of the 365 daily readings opens with a focused Scripture verse, followed by a short reflection that connects directly to everyday life. The daily entries have a format that is easy to follow and quick enough to finish even on a rushed morning.
The warm tan faux leather cover carries a tone-on-tone heat-debossed floral design--flowers, buds, and layered leaves rise up from the lower edge. An accent band, foiled in gold, runs through the design and displays the author's name in heat-debossed letters. Above it, hugged by the floral design, the title is stamped in rich gold foil. Fine tan topstitching traces the outer edge of teh cover, and the back cover displays James 4:8 NLT against the same embossed floral background.
The all-over botanical design looks intentional without being fussy. It's a cover that belongs on a nightstand, desk, or kitchen counter--present and easy to reach every day. The warm tan and gold combination makes it look worth opening every morning.
Inside, deep purple endpapers feature layered watercolor botanicals in violet and lavender tones, and bright gold gilt-edged pages catch the light when the book is closed. Lavender monthly divider pages mark each new section with coordinating floral artwork, which also appears on each daily entry page. A presentation page at the front is ready to personalize before giving.
This devotional is a steadfast gift for the woman who wants to grow in her faith by cultivating a daily habit that actually fits her schedule. Give it to the church secretary who quietly supports everyone else, as a birthday recognition of all she pours out behind the scenes. Bring it to a new mom's baby shower with a note reminding her that she matters too, not just the baby. Or, choose the Quiet Time with God for Women Tan Faux Leather Devotional as a confirmation gift for a teenage daughter beginning to own her faith for herself.
