Federico Samaniego Lapuente es ingeniero agrÃ3nomo por la Universidad AutÃ3noma Metropolitana (1980); ha sido profesor e investigador asociado del Centro de Estudios Agrarios A. C. y de Fomento Cultural y Educativo A. C. (1981-1998); miembro participante del Taller Nacional de Coyuntura. EstudiÃ3 Historia de Estados Unidos en Washington D.C., en donde residiÃ3 ocho años.
