Unlike much of the past 2,000 years, we now live in an era where the Bible is not only read regularly by most Christians but also widely discussed. With the advent of social media, it seems almost everyone feels compelled to share their personal interpretation of what they believe the Bible says, often with great passion and zeal. However, despite the considerable time many spend reading Scripture, many overlook or remain unaware of the essential principles for correctly interpreting ancient, non-English texts.
