Cristian Perfumo escribe thrillers ambientados en la Patagonia, lugar donde se crio. Sus novelas cuentan con decenas de miles de lectores en todo el mundo. Con El coleccionista de flechas (2017), ganó el premio Literario de Amazon, al que se presentaron más de 1.800 obras de autores de 39 países. Rescate gris fue finalista del premio Clarín de Novela 2018, uno de los galardones literarios más importantes de Latinoamérica. Sus libros han sido traducidos a varios idiomas y publicados en formato audiolibro. Tras vivir mucho tiempo en Australia Cristian reside en Barcelona.
