This story is about possibilities...and accepting the responsibilities that comes with it. It shares personal reflections about growing up in America as she changed from segregation to integration. This transition caused rearrangements in lifestyles and interactions between black and white citizenry. This new reality had promise, but the changing times presented more perplexing problems to black men, specifically.
Interwoven in the narrative is a spiritual journey. It identifies a personal quest of reconnecting with an ancestral way of knowing how to live in a modern world.
