by Tanisha Holmes (Author)
Tanisha Holmes was only a little girl when the enemy tried to steal her identity. Silenced by trauma, shaped by rejection, and buried beneath layers of pain, she learned early how to survive-but not how to heal. For years, she carried the weight of what was done to her, quietly bleeding on the inside while appearing strong on the outside. But even in her suffering, God was there-watching over her, covering her in grace, and quietly preparing her within the cocoon of purpose.
In this deeply personal and Spirit-led testimony, Tanisha opens the door to her journey through sexual abuse, emotional wounds, heartbreak, and shame-and shows how the hand of God was writing a redemptive story all along. Through prophetic words, divine encounters, and the quiet voice of the Holy Spirit, God began restoring what had been stolen: her voice, her vision, her worth. Restored With Purpose is more than a memoir. It is a mantle. A call to every woman who has ever felt broken, forgotten, or unworthy-to know that God still heals. God still speaks. And God still restores. Whether you're in the pit or in the process, this book is a reminder that the cocoon is not your end-it's the sacred space where your wings are forming. You don't have to carry the shame. You don't have to pretend to be whole. There is restoration for you. And it begins with truth. This is your invitation to rise, to be seen, and to be made whole by the One who still makes all things new.
