by Kurt James (Author)
They call him Ghost. In the Colorado Rockies' high country, where the wind whispers and mountains hold memories, Matt Lee walks a fine line between legend and damnation. Although a man of flesh and blood, he became something else in the shadow of a haunted mountain... something feared by warriors and spoken of in hushed tones around campfires.
Years ago, a deadly encounter at a cursed cave unleashed a darkness inside him-a rage that turned him into a one-man war against the Ute Nation. What followed was not just survival, but slaughter. A trail of blood, myth, and fear that gave birth to the legend of the Ghost.
Now older, wiser, and fighting to hold on to the man he once was, Matt Lee rides alongside those he loves through a frontier on the brink-where tensions between the U.S. Cavalry and the Ute people threaten to explode into violence once more.
But the past doesn't stay buried in these mountains. Omens gather, and spirits stir. And something unseen walks the line between this world... and the next.
In this powerful Western tale of redemption, madness, and the supernatural, Kurt James delivers a gripping story where a man's own soul becomes the greatest battlefield, not gun or blade.
Because once you become a ghost, a legend...you can never truly come back.
