Elizabeth Mannion is the co-editor of Guilt Rules All: Irish Mystery, Detective, and Crime Fiction; editor of The Contemporary Irish Detective Novel; and the author of The Urban Plays of the Early Abbey Theatre. She teaches at Baruch College, CUNY. Her research crosses a range of genres.
Ann Matsuuchi is an instructional technology librarian at LaGuardia Community College, CUNY. Writing projects include essays on: Samuel R. Delany's comic book/graphic novels, filmmaker Melvin Van Peebles, and teaching Octavia E. Butler with Wikipedia for MLA's Teaching Octavia Butler. Lavelle Porter is the author of The Blackademic Life: Academic Fiction, Higher Education, and the Black Intellectual. He is a graduate of Morehouse College and The Graduate Center, CUNY. He has taught at multiple colleges in the CUNY system, and is currently Distinguished Lecturer at Macaulay Honors College, CUNY.
