In Sanctuary School, Chandler Patton Miranda highlights the many ways that K-12 schools can provide safe educational spaces and relevant, responsive resources for immigrant students. Chandler Patton Miranda is an assistant professor of education at Molloy University. Her research focuses on immigration and education in the US as it relates to policy, school culture, and the politics of language learning. She is a former high school science teacher.
