SCARYELLA
A delightfully spooky tale about being different, finding courage, and discovering that appearances can be deceiving.
Meet Scaryella, a wonderfully unusual young girl with a name-and a look-that might make you think you know exactly what kind of story you're about to read.
But Scaryella has a few surprises in store.
In a whimsical world filled with colorful characters, unexpected encounters, and just the right amount of spookiness, Scaryella sets off on an adventure that challenges what others think about her-and what she thinks about herself. Along the way, she discovers that being different isn't something to hide. Sometimes the very things that make you stand out are the things that make you special.
Funny, imaginative, beautifully illustrated, and filled with heart, SCARYELLA turns the traditional scary story on its head. Beneath its playful chills is a warm message about kindness, acceptance, courage, friendship, and looking beyond appearances.
Perfect for children who enjoy a little spooky fun without being truly frightened, Scaryella is a story parents and children can enjoy together-and one young readers will want to visit again and again.
Sometimes the things that look a little scary aren't scary at all. Sometimes they're simply different.
SCARYELLA is a charming illustrated children's story for young readers, families, classrooms, libraries, and anyone who has ever felt just a little different.
