Twenty tear-out postcards of the beautiful Ausable River Valley in the Adirondack Mountains of northern New York. The images are alternately scenic, comical, and of documentary interest. Marla Merante, a painter, has hand-tinted Ciszewski's original black and white photographs so that they seem to have come from another time.
Author Biography
Peter Ciszewski works in the tradition of the small town photographer, documenting the local landscape, events and people. Marla Merante is a painter. They live on a farm in the Adirondacks where they raise American Bashkir curly-coated horses.
