Could tourism heal more than it harms? Seeking Sustainable Tourism brings together over 40 artists, architects, community leaders, and tourism practitioners to find ways that travel might serve both people and planet. Born from PRAKSIS's three-year project An Urgent Situation, this visually rich collection blends global perspectives with local case studies, offering context, methods, and visions for the future. The book examines the built environment as both a site of tension and a tool for transformation. Spanning diverse geographies and themes--from Indigenous rights in Sápmi, to cultural identity in Zambia, and community-led regeneration in Indonesia--it invites readers to rethink tourism as a space for care, creativity, and shared responsibility.
