To a helpful scripture of my life, that eagerly pushed me to purchase a journal and offer my poetry to the world, and when I wouldn't you went and bought one and made me take it seriously. Without that push these poems would simply be beautiful after conscious thoughts.You undoubtedly remain the sufficient reason I started taking my passion seriously, and I will never forget that conversation.
Bless you to all of the courageous women that were instrumental in uplifting me in a loving and expressive atmosphere. Intentionally creating potential avenues that have led me to the honorable man that I am today. There is nothing like a proper family and I'm blessed to retain aware people in my corner that merely desire me to shine as bright as possible.
To my closest friends, thank you for lending me your ear as I bounced millions of words and schemes off you. That is something that is priceless in my eyes. Thank you for not downplaying my affirmation of wanting to be an author.

Complicated Illusion
staying with every reason to leave
content with being comfortable; neither pushed nor pulled
but anything is better than starting over right?
combing through the questions in search of intention and purpose
old arguments lead to familiar destinations
what you deserve falling low on list of things you require
unobtainable desires
tainted belief that love is misery and pain is access to their hearts
Bumps and Bruises
Mishandled as you began to reach your peak a path so unique
Life never knocks before it enters the room
Unapologetic is what most assume
But I see you
A mind that's piecing it all together
A heart that longs for transparency
Weathered skin
The eyes that cry for security
Hands forced to hold it all together;
a smile that brightens the weather
I see you
