He surfs year round in the North Atlantic.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eBrenda Jones grew up in Prince Edward Island and moved to Montreal in her twenties, where she worked at the National Film Board and on many animated TV shows. She started illustrating picture books in the 1980s, and has since published over twenty titles, two of which won the Lillian Shepherd Memorial Award for Excellence in Illustration.
