Sid is a very nice ghost. He'd like to be friends, but that's hard to do when you can't make any noise. Can you help? Come meet and make friends with Sid the Silent Ghost.
Sid the Silent Ghost is an early-reader/read-along title that focuses on relationships and unique characteristics of friendship. Particularly shy children will enjoy meeting Sid, and may even find someone they find to be rather familiar. This is the first volume in a series featuring Sid, and will become the foundation for an ongoing exploration of things that don't draw attention to themselves with noise.
Sid the Silent Ghost is the latest title from Kathryn Peters, author of several series of children's books, including Tillie Fussbudget, Elizabeth Rose Stories, and Haystack, as well as early reading concept books like Fat Cat. Each series has its own style, humor, and artistic approach, providing readers (and read-along audiences) with hours of enjoyment and re-readability.
Her special edition of Tillie Fussbudget's Fourth of July, which celebrates America's 250th birthday, was recognized by The White House and President Trump for its delightful presentation of an Independence Day celebration, and the concepts of liberty that are central to America's founding. Parents, grandparents, and teachers alike have been delighted by the charming and amusing characters in her books, which present various topics such as phonics, holidays, relationships, and family with gentle fun and joyful observations.
