I wrote this book because several years ago, facing pancreatic cancer, I desperately needed it and found no resource that dealt with body, soul and spirit from a Christian point of view.
I candidly share my personal healing adventure throughout to illustrate and encourage.
Five appendices are packed with practical information and resources.
The book neither tries to sell a "silver bullet cure" nor talk you into or out of anything. It simply offers Real Health Hope through insights that, in my experience, were not compiled elsewhere. Many authors about cancer tell others what they think they should do. This book shares first hand experience and a great deal of encouragement for you to "tune into God to find how He wants your healing to occur."
Author Biography
Jacquie Woodward is a retired educator, business woman, and artist. She is an active grandmother of five--three of whom she would have never met had she not "slammed the door on cancer".
Jacquie's cancer experience, she believes, is a case in point "that in all things God works for the good of those who love him . . ." (Romans 8:28) Describing herself as a "long dormant Christian" at the moment of her cancer diagnosis, Jacquie experienced God meeting her where she was and directing her "connect the dots miracle" walk through both scientific facts and Scriptural truth. Ultimately she was led to realize that healing is an empowering participatory process that cannot fail when rooted in the truth
