Marc, Sam, and Nicole built a mighty cat of snow with two golden marbles for eyes and an old fox stole for a tail. For ears they used red earmuffs.
That night, just before Sam fell asleep - or was it after? - he heard a sound outside. There was a snowcat, rapping on the glass with his paw. Sam wasn't afraid. If it was a dream, he'd be safe. If it wasn't a dream, it was magic, and he'd still be safe.
