For Aurora, her life gets turned upside down when her family receive tickets for bunker relocation. They must try and reach Inverness, navigating through a surge of riots, looting and natural disasters brought about by the asteroid.Meanwhile, Chidi is manically helping prepare the Inverness Bunker for the influx of new inhabitants. All he can do is stand by and watch as family after family get turned away from safety, while those chosen receive refuge.

After gaining her trust, he unexpectantly finds himself at the centre of the backup plan to divert the asteroid, flying across the globe with Heike as they make plans to try and save the world, even if those in power believe it's already too late.
