Stars aren't meant to fall. They may shoot across the sky, trailing flecks of silver magic in their wake, but they don't fall. Astraea, a princess born of stardust and night, can't fall.
Falling means that her people are left in darkness. It means that her general will fight Prince Griffin alone, with no Dark Heir to shield him from the prince's light magic. It means another statue added to the memorial garden and another heir to mourn.
Astraea can't fall, but she can't let her family die, either.
After a disastrous battle, the dark truth behind the war and the heirs' role in it is revealed. Now they must work together to find seven ancient relics before the king and queen discover their betrayal. With monsters, evil knights, and immortal beings lurking around every corner, the duo will need to trust each other, and themselves, if they want to survive long enough to claim their thrones.
Astraea has always fought for her people. She would have died for them. But now, she must do something harder. She will live for them - until Star's fall.
