In conjunction with the prestigious Virginia Quilt Museum's mission to cultivate and preserve the quilting arts in Virginia, these quilts were expressly made for the US semiquincentennial. Grouped into themes of "Power of Place," "Unfinished Revolutions," "Virginia Experiments," and "We the People," the quilts capture history in a remarkable way, using countless types of fabrics, materials, styles, and interpretations.
