This third collection of quirky short stories goes to strange places just beyond the here and now. Come travelling to these peculiar worlds where mermaids can ride bicycles on their birthdays, and drive-movies still exist but not everyone gets to leave the drive-in when the movie finishes. Visit the school where something very weird and dangerous has happen to the baby duck. Help Amelia discover who's lurking under her Christmas tree in the middle of the night. Watch as see how anti-bully apples really work. Go hunting with kids trained to capture witches and their Cat-bots. Have lunch with a bizarre time traveller who's arrived at the skate-park. Discover the mutant mystery and find out why surfers, Libby and Jack, can stay under water forever. These peculiar places aren't too far away, just beyond the here and now.
