There he outlines the spiritual journey from beginning to maturity as he found described in John's Gospel. The writer of John's Gospel says in Verse 20:31 But these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name. This study guide will help you to grow in your spiritual life, and at the same time, help prepare you for all the joys of Heaven. It will guide you to become a true spiritual brother, or sister, of the Lord Jesus here and now.
Author Biography
Tijs is a retired Presbyterian minister with the Presbyterian Church in Canada. He served in 3 pastoral charges in various parts of Ontario over a period of some 35 years. He now lives with his wife Claire in St.Catharines, where he still enjoys working with wood, doing stain glass, building model boats and helping people with odd jobs. His wife is an avid gardener. They have 3 grown sons, who are all married, as well as 4 grandchildren. They are blessed to be able to spend summers at their cottage at the Lake in northern Ontario, swimming, sailing, water skiing, and visiting with a wide variety of friends.
