After describing the territory of trauma and reviewing the state of the art of its psychotherapeutic approach, this book offers various action strategies and a large number of intervention techniques designed to empower clients and help them take back the reins of their lives. Traumatic experiences often leave painful and disabling psychological scars that affect the people who experience them and those who live with them. These post-traumatic sequelae pose challenging challenges for psychotherapists.
