This is our story. We know how it feels to fail time and time again at planning a family to only have our hearts broken repeatedly. Yet, after each failure we still had a nudging inside for a child. Our Sweet Baby James was there all along and we just had to be as patient as he was waiting for God's plan to unfold.
The birth mother in this story is our beloved birth mother. Although her image in this manuscript is fictional, the love that she had for James is a testament to true agape love. She was chosen for a monumental task that she lovingly accepted and we will always cherish her for the unselfish love she demonstrated.

Robert Frost famously stated, "Two roads diverged in a wood, and I - I took the one less traveled by, and that has made all the difference." He was right. For us, it has made all the difference in the world! Make a difference in someone's life.
