Multiple Sclerosis is a very serious, complex condition with a whole host of symptoms. Everyone's experiences are different. You will be taken on an emotional journey through the eyes of the author, going through the physical and emotional roller coaster that is the life of a person diagnosed with this awful condition. This book speaks from a layman's perspective, not a scientific one. Through the information contained in this book, the author seeks to educate and inform people through her story that everyone should take an active role in their own healthcare, by performing independent research before agreeing to ingest any type of treatment. Unfortunately, doctors don't always have all the answers, especially when it comes to Multiple Sclerosis.
Author Biography
Elizabeth J. Rhodes is not a medical professional, just a person who was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis who decided to defy the odds, and the doctors, and take her healthcare into her own hands. In doing so, she found a treatment that enabled her to get her life back. She now spends a great deal of her time advocating for others who suffer from this and other chronic and terminal conditions, in her efforts to raise awareness about the benefits of Low-Dose Naltrexone. Her mission is to change the face of MS, and to share her good fortune with others who suffer from this sometimes debilitating illness.
