It is Mirza Ghalib's pean to Kashi, which he calls Kaaba-e-Hindostan or the Mecca of India.\u003ch3\u003eAuthor Biography\u003c\/h3\u003e\u003cp\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eMirza Ghalib (1797-1869) was one of the greatest Urdu poets most well-known for his ghazals. He lived during the reign of the last Mughal king, whose court was the centre of the golden age of Urdu poetry. \u003ci\u003eChiragh-e Dair\u003c\/i\u003e is a \u003ci\u003emasnavi \u003c\/i\u003ehe wrote on the city of Banaras en route to Calcutta. \u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e Maaz Bin Bilal is a poet, translator, and academic. His first collection\u003ci\u003e Ghazalnama: Poems from Delhi, Belfast, and Urdu\u003c\/i\u003e (2019) was shortlisted for the Sahitya Akademi Yuva Puraskar.
