In Matthew 24:3, Jesus was asked by His disciples, "Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?"Our Lord answered that question in Matthew 24, Mark 13, and Luke 21. He did not give us a time and a date. But Jesus did give us 10 prophesies that must be fulfilled before He would come again. This will not be another book trying to predict the day or timing of the rapture. Scripture is clear that no man knows the actual time of Jesus' return. God does not want for us to predict dates. But we are to watch! These ten Bible prophecies that could not have come to pass until recent times. A few of them, are still to be fulfilled. But the necessary things are already falling into place so that all could be fulfilled very quickly.It's both frightening and exciting to think that ours might be the generation that will see the King coming in all of His glory! We can, like "the children of Issachar," be, "men that had understanding of the times" (1 Chronicles 12:32)."And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh."-- Luke 21:28
