Long before he becomes the Easter Bunny, Larry McHare is just a young rabbit. Larry is no ordinary bunny, though. He's got big ears, big imagination, and big courage.
Larry lives in Friendship Forest, but not everyone there is...well, friendly! All the bullies in the forest call Larry names, but Larry never lets that ruin his day.
He just smiles until the bullies lose interest. Even when they call him "Larry Long Ears," Larry doesn't mind. He loves his big ears!
One day, Larry drifts off to sleep and finds himself in a magical castle in the clouds. Because he's always so brave with all those bullies, Larry is the king's honored guest, and together, they go on an amazing adventure. They make daring rescues, and Larry even plays hide-and-seek with candy from magical trees!
Larry awakes, yawns, and hops home, not noticing that a piece of his dream has fallen from his pocket...will it take root and grow?
Author Biography
Michael Anthony Martinez grew up in Southern California. As a kid, he enjoyed riding bikes, hiking, and playing outdoors with friends.
Martinez was not the biggest fan of school, but he loved to let his imagination run wild. Never losing that joy and creativity, Martinez now brings his vivid stories and daring adventures to the pages of children's books.
