Josh Pachter is a writer, editor, and translator. At the age of sixteen, Pachter wrote his first short story, which was featured in Ellery Queen's Mystery Magazine in 1968. Since then, he has published over one hundred and twenty works of crime fiction. He has also edited and coedited over two dozen anthologies, including the Anthony Award-nominated Paranoia Blues and Happiness Is a Warm Gun.
