A quirky, humorous picture book about facing our fears from the award-winning creator of New York Times-honored The Night Walk.
Tommy is afraid of wind, rain, cats, dogs, dragonflies, loud laughs... everything.
One stormy night, Tommy wraps himself in a big red blanket and discovers that inside his knitted shield, he doesn't feel so afraid anymore. So, he wears his blanket at home, in the car, at school... everywhere.
But has his woolly armor become a barrier between Tommy and... everyone?
Quirky imagination and gentle humor weave their way through both the words and illustrations in this distinctive picture book about dealing with anxiety and learning to step outside our comfort zone.
