Something has shifted at work, and if you have been feeling it, you are not imagining it. The bar is higher, expectations are different, and it is not just happening in your role or your organization. It is happening everywhere, at every level, all at once.
Why?
AI is accelerating the pace of work and raising the bar. The expectations and decisions that used to arrive gradually now show up on day one. And the capability AI cannot replicate is the one that matters most: the human judgment to read a situation accurately and work with the people around you in a way that moves things forward, individually, on teams, and across the organization.
But that capability does not travel freely. An invisible layer runs through every professional interaction we have, filtering what the other person receives. That is a wiring gap. And closing it is what makes careers move.
The Career Edge gives you a way to see it.
Built around original frameworks, including The Wiring Gap(TM) and The Performance Loop(TM), this book deepens your understanding of the specific people your work moves through so your ideas, feedback, and direction are received the way you intend.
That understanding is The Career Edge. And it is what makes everything else more powerful, including AI literacy.
Whether you are building momentum earlier in your career, leading a team, or shaping an organization, The Career Edge develops the ability to work with the people around you in a way that creates trust, reduces friction, and makes your best thinking visible.
This is the Upsurge Era. And this is how work actually works.
