The Case Against Mormonism is a book written in 1915 by Robert C. Webb, which presents a comprehensive critique of the Mormon religion. The author examines the history and beliefs of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, also known as the Mormon Church, and argues that its teachings are fundamentally flawed and incompatible with mainstream Christianity. Webb explores the origins of Mormonism, including the life of its founder, Joseph Smith, and the development of its distinctive doctrines, such as the belief in modern-day revelation and the practice of polygamy. He also examines the controversial history of the Mormon Church, including its involvement in violent conflicts with non-Mormon communities and its persecution of dissidents within its own ranks. Throughout the book, Webb presents evidence and arguments to support his case against Mormonism, drawing on a range of sources including the Bible, contemporary accounts, and official Mormon texts. The Case Against Mormonism remains a significant work of criticism of the Mormon Church, and its arguments continue to be debated and discussed by scholars and believers alike. Also Contains, The Foundations Of Mormonism. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations.
