He grew up an average child in the 50s and 60s and had a happy childhood, although he was marred by the assassinations of John F. Kennedy and Martin Luther King Jr. At 16 the horrors of the Vietnam war haunted him, and he wondered where God was in a world he saw as ever-darkening chaos. Searching for truth led him to the Bible and to Jesus the Messiah and made him the biblical researcher he is today.
