Rob and Linda Umstead have a beautiful story of God's faithfulness that needs to be told and heard. I am grateful that Rob responded to the prompting of the Holy Spirit to put their story into writing to bless others. Reading their story has encouraged my heard and deepened my faith. In an age in which many people are not waiting for God, trusting God, and obeying God, this story is a much-needed reminder about the blessings of pursuing a better way.

Admit it!
Marriage in North American culture is in trouble. Fewer young people are marrying and having children. Not only in the broader culture but in the Church. The prevailing cultural approach to marriage formation -- the Hook Up Culture -- is failing. Not only is it totally inadequate to prepare a couple for marriage, it is great preparation for their inevitable divorce.
Is there a better way? Yes!
But it must start out right.
This very personal story so tenderly expresses how God in His faithfulness brought Rob and Linda together, building a relationship of love leading to marriage that flourished until "death do us part."
