Trying to prepare a holiday children's program is often a stressful affair for both the youngsters, who worry about memorizing their lines, and for their directors, who tear their hair out trying to make sure everyone attends rehearsals, not to mention coordinating props and costumes. Unity Church of Dallas, Texas Mel Ann Coley is a magna cum laude graduate of North Texas State University with a B.S. degree in Secondary Education (Speech and English). She currently teaches writing part-time at Richland College and is a freelance writer and editor. She is also the proud mother of two children.
