Dayne Kamela
He had no plans to share his story publicly. After being healed from bipolar I disorder in his early twenties - diagnosed after a manic episode that landed him in the hospital - he was just grateful to be free. For the past nine years, Dayne has remained medication-free. What the enemy intended to destroy became the message that now reaches millions.
As the founder of Litwithprayer, Kamela is passionate about helping individuals develop a strong relationship with Jesus through prayer and other practical tools, empowering them to discover and fulfill their God-given potential. His platform @litwithprayer has grown to more than 1.4 million followers across TikTok, Facebook, and Instagram - built on daily messages about prayer, spiritual warfare, and mental health.
His first book, Choose Prayer, Not Despair, addressed the intersection of faith and mental health directly - a prayer warrior book for believers fighting anxiety, depression, and the lies the enemy speaks over their minds. The Devil Hates This Prayer is his follow-up: a 60-day spiritual warfare prayer and daily prayer book that targets those lies one by one.
Additionally, he is dedicated to serving his community through the Litwithprayer Foundation, a nonprofit organization that focuses on providing support for young people facing mental health challenges.
