Drifter John Walker has no friends, but he's so engaging that Maxie invites him over for dinner. The next day he moves on-and is later found dead in his motel room. Sue Henry is the author of the award-winning Alaska mystery series. She has lived in Alaska for almost a quarter of a century and brings history, Alaskan lore, and the majestic beauty of the vast landscape to her mysteries. She teaches writing at the University of Alaska, Anchorage.
