Author Biography
St. Frances of Rome (1384-1440) was a devoted wife, mother, and mystic who exemplified compassion and service. Born into a noble family in Rome, she embraced a life of deep spirituality despite societal expectations. Amid personal tragedies, including losing her children to plague, Frances found solace in helping others. She co-founded the Oblates of Mary, a lay community dedicated to charity and prayer. Her visions of her guardian angel guiding her daily actions became a hallmark of her faith. Canonized in 1608, St. Frances is the patroness of widows and motorists, celebrated for her unwavering devotion to God and man.
