It might seem that the biblical description of Abraham's call is unimportant for the next generations of believers like us. The Patriarch plays an extraordinary role due to meeting God on his way, and the graces he received from God transcended his life. Walter John Takuski holds a Sacred Theology Doctorate from the Pontifical University of John Paul II. As a priest of the Archdiocese of Chicago, he served at numerous parishes, in the city of Chicago and its suburban areas and at the University of Saint Mary of the Lake Mundelein Seminary. He wrote a doctoral thesis about the "Servant character of leadership in the Holy Scriptures" and is interested in LifeLong Faith Formation, Evangelization, and Faith Growth. His plans include writing a new book entitled "Mercy triumphs over judgment." He enjoys trips, music, movies, poetry, biblical and scientific studies, parish ministry, and conversations.
