Lori Wengle has faced a lot of personal challenges in her life, battling family splits, failed relationships, and her own weight-a constant struggle. Her weight fluctuated between 180 and 242 pounds for nine years. On top of these ups and downs, she battled high blood pressure-from the age of ten years. Her doctors explained that it was hypertension (a medical condition where the blood pressure is chronically elevated), but she knew better. She believed it meant that she was too fat. Additionally, her blood sugar was also elevated. She was a mess and depressed. Although her battle with her weight stretched her to the limits, both physically and mentally, she persevered until she achieved the success that would change her life forever.
