Author Biography
Dr. Miia Kivipelto, MD, is a physician and professor of clinical geriatric medicine and one of the founders of the FINGERS Brain Health Institute. She has received the prestigious Ryman Prize, the Alzheimerfonden's research prize and the Melvin R. Goodes Prize. She teaches at Yale University, Imperial College London, the University of Eastern Finland, and chairs the Nordic Brain Network research group.
Dr. Mai-Lis Hellénius, MD, is a physician and professor at Karolinska Institutet, specializing in the prevention of cardiovascular disease with a focus on our lifestyle, diet, and physical activity. She is a sought-after expert and lecturer in Sweden and around the world. Several of her earlier books are award-winning and she has received national and international awards for her research and her public health work.
